Competition and antitrust Tier 5

Corporate and M&A Tier 5

Established in 2014, CGM Advogados has seen steady growth. Many of its partners have worked together for several years previous to the firm's founding, and the team continues to work with longstanding clients, which include household name multinationals. A mixed team of corporate and tax lawyers led by Bernadete Figueiredo Dias assisted Thermo Fisher Scientific with its merger with Dionex, while a cross-departmental team led by Martim Machado advised Turboserv Engenharia on its acquisition of a turbo machinery business operated by the Brazilian subsidiary of HOERBIGER Group. René Gelman is another key contact.

Labour and employment Tier 5

Clients appreciate CGM Advogados' 'extensive knowledge' and 'ease of contact'. Domestic and multinational companies turn to the team for labour, immigration and social security issues. Patricia Medeiros Barboza heads the department, which includes the 'detailed' and 'business oriented' Maury Lobo de Athayde ; a 'team player', he made partner in 2019.

Next Generation Partners
