A major part of Claus Schindele’s IP work involves advising clients on strategic issues in the various fields of chemistry. Other important activities are drafting patent applications, conducting European opposition proceedings and preparing legal opinions on validity and relevance of patents.

His scientific background comprises inorganic, organic and pharmaceutical chemistry. He has particular specialist expertise in the fields of polymer chemistry and thin film technology, especially photovoltaic cells.
