He has extensive experience in opposition proceedings as well as in opposition appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office. He has particular expertise in drafting patent applications, establishing and maintaining patent portfolios and preparing opinions on freedom-to-operate, infringement and validity issues. His clients include universities and SMUs as well as major international corporations. His technical emphasis is on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, cell biology, antibodies, enzymes, polymers, detergents and adhesives.
