For more than 25 years, Aliki has been supporting clients at home and abroad – for the most part medium-sized companies having a distinctive brand and design identitiy – in registering and defending their trademark, design and copyright rights. As one of the principal shareholders of one of Europe’s largest design & development companies, she has an insider’s understanding of all that goes into the creation and design of new products, affording her unique insights into the problems confronting the sector. Devising and planning international IP strategies adapted to the particular enterprise is something particularly close to her heart. Another important aspect of her work is competition law, advising on the advertising of medical or therapeutic products and on the procedures to be followed in cases of wrong appropriation. Through her work as a consultant at Aktion Plagiarius eV, she is also familiar with the problems faced by smaller companies in enforcing their rights in other European countries. Here too, thanks to her links with a broad international professional network, she is also able to offer solutions to clients.
