Dounia is a partner in our Dubai office where she focuses on investment funds, corporate and finance. Her experience includes DIFC, ADGM and SCA domiciled funds, private equity, debt, infrastructure, real estate and funds of funds, as well as master-feeder and Shari’ah compliant fund structures. She represents sponsors as well as fund managers. Dounia’s clients include sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors, and family offices across the MENA region.

Dounia is consistently ranked a top funds lawyer in the Middle East by independent legal publications and directories. She was most recently awarded “Next Generation Partner in Investment Funds” in 2025 and prior to that “Investment Funds Rising Star of the Year” for the past two consecutive years, at the Legal 500 MENA Awards.
