As a member of the Global Regulatory Life Sciences team, Hélène Boland focuses her practice on life sciences and data protection. She advises clients on various aspects of the EU GDPR that are particularly relevant to the life sciences sector. As a Belgian-qualified lawyer, Hélène frequently provides advice to global companies on compliance with Belgian data protection and cybersecurity laws.  Furthermore, she is a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO). Hélène has gained a wealth of experience in relation to medical devices including the conformity assessment procedure for medical devices, and advising clients on digital health technologies and also has experience in conducting due diligence and advising on life sciences transactions.
