I am an experienced employment lawyer and have worked for both employer and employee clients across a range of sectors, including Retail, Financial Services, Energy and Tech. I love bringing pragmatic and commercial solutions to the table, engaging with clients' issues from a human perspective to find a solution that works for everyone. Throughout my career, I have worked on matters dealing with a range of employment law issues and regularly advises on all HR and ER issues, including the management of disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, performance and redundancy processes. Outside of work, you can usually find me attempting to run (unsuccessfully), walking my dog (cocker spaniel) or enjoying a drink in the sun (which, in Glasgow, is infrequent).

I am a employment lawyer with a significant interest and expertise in workplace discrimination and equality. I also advise clients on large scale redundancies, disciplinary and grievance matters and HR issues. I am known for my no-nonsense approach and my advice is always practical and solution focused. I advise mostly on contentious issues but also have experience in non-contentious matters. I am involved in the delivery of training to clients throughout the UK and I recently joined forces with a cancer charity in Glasgow to deliver training to managers dealing with people returning to work after long term illness. I am also a qualified business coach and I enjoy the challenge of unlocking the potential of an individual and helping them focus on their career path.

I take a practical, commercially focused approach to advising clients - whether that's navigating complex TUPE or restructuring projects, supporting senior exits or helping employers manage day-to-day workplace challenges. I also support clients through sensitive and high-value tribunal litigation, particularly where reputational or strategic risk is at stake. Clients value my ability to combine technical expertise with clear, responsive guidance that aligns with their commercial goals.
