Career

Rebecca is a Director and Head of the Corporate team at Lawson West Solicitors, providing expert legal advice across a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters, as well as supporting clients in commercial property transactions. Since beginning her legal career in 2015 purely focused in the Commercial sector, Rebecca has developed extensive experience advising business owners, investors, developers, landlords, and tenants throughout the UK.

Her corporate practice covers key areas including:

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) Shareholder agreements and partnership agreements Company share restructures Corporate governance and compliance Business sale and purchase transactions

Rebecca is also well-regarded for her work in commercial property and real estate, having significant experience advising on:

Freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals Commercial lease negotiations Estate management for property portfolios Telecommunications site agreements Renewable energy projects Secured lending arrangements including Bridging Loans Acquiring, managing and disposing of Property in SIPPs and SSAS pension schemes Development work including Option Agreements, Promotion Agreements and Overage Agreements

Rebecca qualified as a solicitor in 2017 and quickly advanced to a leadership role within the firm. In 2022, she was promoted to equity partner and Director. As a Director herself Rebecca understands the challenges and importance of achieving objectives with minimal disruption to the primary focus of the business.
