Career
Mohamed has more than 19 years’ experience working in the Middle East. He regularly assists clients on a broad range of complex and transnational disputes in various sectors including real estate, construction, oil and gas, IT, hotels and tourism and banking in numerous regional jurisdictions primarily in the UAE (including DIFC), and Egypt.
Mohamed also acts as foreign law counsel or expert before Courts of England & Wales, Ireland and Australia.
In arbitration, he has handled cases under most of the major arbitration rules, including ICC, LCIA, DIAC, CRCICA, SIAC and UNCITRAL. He has sat as sole arbitrator, co-arbitrator or chairman on more than 40 cases in the UAE, and Egypt.
Before founding OGH Legal, Mohamed was Director (& Registrar) of the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre and the acting leader of Hogan Lovells’ Disputes practice in the UAE.
