Adv. Asaf Iluz specialises in infrastructure, energy and finance, and is particularly recognised for advising on complex, high-value and strategically significant transactions in the Israeli energy market. He acts for key participants across the electricity sector, including owners and operators of large-scale power plants, leading developers of conventional and renewable generation projects, storage facilities and wind farms, as well as electricity suppliers.

Asaf is particularly valued for his ability to combine sector-specific expertise with transactional sophistication and a strong understanding of the commercial and regulatory frameworks governing major energy and infrastructure projects. His practice covers the full lifecycle of such projects, including development and structuring, tender processes, commercial agreements and regulatory aspects, and he is regularly involved in mandates of significant scale and complexity.

In parallel, Asaf advises both lenders - including banks, insurance companies and other financial institutions - and borrowers, including some of the largest companies in the Israeli market, on sophisticated financing transactions. His experience includes infrastructure project finance, refinancing of large-scale debt, syndicated loan transactions, and the purchase and sale of credit debt and loan portfolios. He is particularly appreciated for his ability to navigate multi-layered transactions requiring legal precision, commercial judgement and a deep familiarity with financing structures.

In addition, Asaf has substantial experience in mergers and acquisitions and a broad range of commercial transactions, further strengthening his ability to advise clients on complex matters at the intersection of energy, infrastructure and finance.
