Associate

Chirag is a corporate and transactional lawyer with over six years of experience advising multinational corporations, institutional investors, and high-growth companies across jurisdictions. He is an Associate in the Corporate and Commercial practice at HAS, where he focuses on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, and complex commercial transactions.

He regularly supports clients through the full lifecycle of transactions, including deal structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating definitive agreements, and closing. His practice also extends to advising on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, data protection, and commercial contracting.

Prior to joining HAS Law Firm, he was a Senior Manager at a global technology company, where he led legal workstreams for strategic acquisitions, venture capital fundraising, commercial contracting and data protection across multiple jurisdictions. He began his career at a leading Indian law firm, where he advised on M&A, PE/VC transactions, capital markets, and securities litigation.

He brings a unique combination of in-house and law firm expertise, enabling him to deliver commercially focused and practical solutions to clients.
