I specialise in personal injury law and represent people who have had life changing injuries, including brain injuries, spinal cord, and serious orthopaedic injuries. I support my clients from the outset of their claim and and aim to secure interim payments as soon as possible to make sure they can get the rehabilitation and support that they need.

Eleri Davies

I am a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Medical Negligence team at Irwin Mitchell's Cardiff office. I handle a variety of claims including delay in diagnosis of cancer, pregnancy and gynaecological injuries and fatal claims. I work closely with Julie Lewis, the partner in the team assisting her with cerebral palsy claims and delay in diagnosis of brain haemorrhages. Bringing a claim can be a very daunting experience and I am also passionate about supporting local charities that can assist my clients and provide them with support and guidance outside the claim process. I work closely with Flamingo Chicks, an inclusive dance school, Meningitis Now and MacMillan Cancer Support and Irwin Mitchell’s Court of Protection and Public Law teams to ensure that my clients receive all the support and services they need to help them move forwards with their lives.

Ehlana Penwarden

I specialise in personal injury and represent adults and children who have had catastrophic and life changing injuries, including brain injury, spinal cord, and serious orthopaedic injury. I also deal with fatal accidents claims. I support my clients from the outset of their claim, to ensure early access to rehabilitation, aim to secure interim payments promptly to continue funding recommended treatment to maximise recovery and achieve the best possible settlement.

Deborah Rose

I specialise in personal injury law and work in the Serious Injury team, representing people who’ve sustained life-changing injuries in accidents. I was inspired to pursue a career in the law after completing work experience in a law firm when I was 16, where I was inspired by how lawyers can help people. I act for people who have sustained the most catastrophic injuries including severe brain and spinal cord injuries and amputations. These clients come to me at an extremely emotional and stressful time and it’s my job to listen and be there for them to ensure their needs are met. I also undertake a lot of fatal accident work, supporting the families of those who have lost their lives through accidents to find answers and security for their futures. My primary goal is to ensure my clients get the support and rehabilitation they need, at the time they need it, to return, as much as possible, to the life they had before their accident. It’s very rewarding to get to know my clients and help them through these moments, working hard to keep things running smoothly and standing up for their rights. Every client is different and so it is important to me to build a relationship with them and get to know them and their families as individuals.
