Karen handles a range of Transportation (Aviation, Shipping, Land and Logistics) related matters such as cargo claims, casualties at sea, container terminals and airports, accidents on vessels and container terminals, disputes between airlines and airport management, as well as registration of local vessels.

She has also advised different container terminals around Hong Kong on matters such as defence of summonses issued by various government departments, personal injury and property damage claims, contractual disputes with sub-contractors and service providers.

Karen has been acting for domestic and international insurers and transportation companies in defending casualty, property damage and professional negligence claims.

She also advises transportation companies, container terminals, shipping companies, taxi and bus operators on various types of insurance matters, such as application for insurance intermediary licenses, policy terms and coverage, and the quantification of claim.

She also advises on matters involving Summonses from different governmental departments such as Buildings Department, Fire Services Department, Labour Department and Hong Kong Customs and Excise Department.

She is also experienced in the areas of personal injury. She has handled cases involving accidents including labour related claims on working premises that happened on land, and maritime or aviation related casualties.  In addition, she has handled personal injury claims resulting from occupational diseases, product malfunction and medical malpractice.
