With a strong background in the banking sector, Elizabeth has held key positions at renowned institutions throughout her career. Prior to joining Ince & Co., she served as the Head of Capital Markets Compliance at Royal Bank of Canada in Hong Kong. In this role, Elizabeth provided expert guidance and advisory services on regulatory and compliance matters across front, middle, and back office teams. She led the compliance functions for Global Markets, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory standards, internal policies, and industry best practices. Elizabeth played a pivotal role in developing and enhancing the bank’s compliance policies and procedures, aligning them with global regulatory requirements. She also spearheaded the development and execution of robust compliance training and monitoring initiatives, ensuring the prompt identification and reporting of any issues, as well as the swift implementation of necessary corrective measures.

Elizabeth’s career also includes notable roles at Nomura International (Hong Kong) Limited where she served as the Legal Counsel playing a crucial role in providing legal assistance in developing new products, structuring derivative deals, and navigating legal and regulatory issues affecting the business. Elizabeth’s experience also includes a significant tenure at Lehman Brothers Asia Holdings Limited, where she oversaw legal matters related to investment banking transactions in Asia Ex-Japan.
