Senior Associate

Jonathan specialises in advising on contentious matters, with a particular focus on building and construction disputes. He has represented main contractors, sub-contractors, and employers in litigation arising from various development projects.

In addition, Jonathan is well-versed in general civil and commercial litigation, liquidators’ actions, and contentious probate matters.

Jonathan also maintains a robust criminal defence practice and is highly experienced in handling law enforcement investigations. He frequently accompanies clients to interviews with the Hong Kong Police Force, the Independent Commission Against Corruption, the Labour Department, the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, the Immigration Department, and the Customs and Excise Department. In particular, he has extensive experience handling departmental summonses concerning industrial safety and environmental compliance.

Alongside his legal practice, Jonathan has served as a member of the Disciplinary Committee Panel of the Social Workers Registration Board since June 2025.
