Svitlana specialises in complex legal disputes, ensuring maximum protection of clients’ interests in interaction with regulatory authorities.

She spent a significant part of her career working in the judiciary. She held senior positions in the Supreme Court of Ukraine. She also headed the Litigation Support Department of the State Tax Service.

Her professional experience includes positions as Deputy Minister of Justice and Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine, where she was responsible for forensic expertise and policy development in labour law.

She has 20 years of experience in legal support of reforms and project management in the public sector. She helped to update the enforcement system by introducing the institute of private enforcement officers.

Projects representing the shareholders of an insurance company, a market leader in the non-life segment, in disputes with the National Bank regarding both the cancellation of voluntary insurance licences and the subsequent liquidation of the insurer supporting a leading ridesharing service in a property dispute regarding the counterparty’s failure to fulfil its obligations in the amount of over UAH 12 million defence of the interests of the top management of a prominent Ukrainian bank and its beneficial owner (among the top 25 richest Ukrainians according to Forbes) in cases brought by the Deposit Guarantee Fund for damages over UAH 18.5 billion representing an online lending service, which is among the TOP-20 FinTech leaders, in a court dispute with the National Bank to restore its impeccable business reputation and cancel the decision to revoke its licence
