Jonas Sakalauskas is a seasoned dispute resolution specialist with more than 16 years of experience representing clients in complex civil and administrative litigation. He focuses on highly regulated sectors, including customs and international trade, environmental and waste management, and energy, and has significant expertise in managing regulatory and environmental crises. Jonas offers strategic counsel in high-stakes disputes and is known for his empathetic approach, clear communication and strategic ability to resolve critical matters efficiently.

He is among Lithuania’s leading experts in customs and international trade law, advising on cross-border commodity transactions, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance, as well as representing clients in customs-related disputes.

Jonas also has substantial experience in environmental crisis management, having advised in a major part of the most important environmental cases in Lithuania in recent years. He advises on complex matters involving environmental regulation, waste management compliance, and fire safety incidents. He is especially skilled at managing high-stakes matters involving diverse stakeholders such as governmental bodies, regulatory and legal authorities, political institutions, and the media.
