Career
Signe Renée West brings over 25 years of specialised experience in employment and labour law, advising companies, boards, and executive management across sectors. She began her career at Denmark’s largest employers’ association (DI) and has, for the past two decades, practised from some of Denmark’s top-ranked and most reputable law firms.
She is a highly trusted advisor in complex matters involving M&A transactions, where her expertise in employee transfers, reorganisations, and incentive schemes is second to none. Signe Renée routinely advises on and coordinates organisational restructurings, individual and large-scale dismissals, the design and implementation of bonus and retention programmes, as well as the negotiation of collective agreements. She also provides training for leadership teams and delivers tailored legal workshops to management, ensuring that employment law is not just understood—but actively applied to support commercial strategy.
Her client portfolio spans listed multinationals to dynamic SMEs, and she thrives when allowed close insight into a company’s culture and objectives. She believes that legal advice must be legally sound, commercially relevant, and strategically aligned—with measurable value for the business.
Signe Renée is highly regarded among peers and clients alike. She has been consistently recognised by The Legal 500 for her employment law expertise and cited by other legal directories as one of Denmark’s most experienced employment lawyers within M&A.
