Career

Becky is a Solicitor in the Family Team with four years’ post-qualification experience, specialising in divorce, finances and children matters, with a particular focus on matrimonial finance issues. She is committed to providing clear, practical and outcome-focused advice. Her approach centres on helping clients see the bigger picture and plan for the long term. While family disputes can easily become adversarial, she works to reduce conflict wherever possible and keep matters progressing efficiently. She is firmly on her clients’ side—supportive, realistic and dedicated to achieving the best possible outcome, whether through constructive negotiation or robust litigation. Becky joined Wollens in October 2025, having previously worked at a firm in Plymouth for nearly five years.

Her experience includes:

Obtaining a Legal Services Payment Order for a client unable to fund his own legal fees, where the spouse held substantial assets

Representing clients in children matters involving allegations of harm and/or alienating behaviours

Acting in all stages of contested financial remedy proceedings

Advising on disputes over the classification of matrimonial and non-matrimonial assets

Preparing Deeds of Separation for married and unmarried couples

Drafting and securing Consent Orders, including complex Orders and clean break Orders

Representing clients prevented from having contact with their children

Advising on national and international child relocation

Assisting with Hague Convention proceedings to secure the return of a child to the jurisdiction of England and Wales

Assisting in discharging a Special Guardianship Order to enable a child’s return to her birth mother
