Career

Andrew has worked at Hill Dickinson LLP for his entire career spanning over 25 years.

Andrew joined the firm in September 1998 as a trainee solicitor before qualifying as an associate in April 2000 into the health litigation team.

He has spent time working in the Manchester office leading the health litigation team before returning to Liverpool where he became the national Head of Health Litigation in 2012.

Andrew has been the Health Business Group Leader since July 2015 and sits on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Andrew is the Health Business Group Leader of Hill Dickinson LLP and leads the health sector offering in the firm covering commercial, real estate, employment, advisory, public law, costs and litigation.

He also leads the Health Litigation Team which is one of the largest teams in the firm and is the Client Relationship Partner for NHS Resolution. Andrew leads on patient safety initiatives and one of the leading lawyers in the clinical negligence field nationally.

Based in Liverpool, Andrew spends his time working across all of the firm’s UK offices including London, Manchester, Leeds and Newcastle.

Andrew deals with the full spectrum of both clinical negligence claims and non-clinical claims, with extensive experience of running a number of high-profile stress and bullying claims in the health sector.
