Ilknur joined ErsoyBilgehan in 1999 as an associate and became a partner to the firm over 15 years ago. With her 25 years of experience in law, Ilknur specialized in negotiation and enforcement of public contracts, restructuring of public and private loans as well as administrative and civil litigation. She also has particular expertise in advising on administrative aspects of real estate projects, including satisfaction of various licensing and authorisation requirements and environmental clearances. On the shipping side, she is mainly involved in disputes arising out of the collisions, cargo claims and international trade disputes and has extensive experience in both “wet” and “dry” shipping matters. She is regularly called upon by foreign investors for assistance in the establishment and structuring of their Turkish ventures and affiliates.

Ilknur is currently based in Istanbul, Turkey and works as an Of Counsel to the firm since 2019.
