Position

Dominic Schopf supports the firm's Competition, Intellectual Property and Product Regulation & Compliance group as an associate. He specialises in competition and commercial law. He represents companies in all competition law matters before authorities (COMCO) and civil courts and advises them in particular in the areas of cartel agreements and abuse of market power as well as on unfair competition issues. He also assists companies with the filing and coordination of international merger control proceedings. A further focus of his work is advising on commercial law, in particular the drafting, review and negotiation of distribution, license and cooperation agreements of all kinds as well as representation in commercial law disputes.

Career

Dominic Schopf has several years of experience in his areas of specialisation due to his previous work in antitrust law boutiques, which he has gained in advising and litigating for clients from a wide range of industries, such as the automotive, construction, luxury goods, food, sports and energy industries.
