Denys Shevchenko is a criminal defence lawyer focused on strategic representation in multi-episode and high-profile criminal proceedings involving economic crimes, official misconduct, and senior executive officers. He has substantial experience in tackling complex cases and countering unjustified procedural pressure.

He represents clients at all stages of criminal proceedings – from the initiation of pre-trial investigations and development of defence strategy through to final resolution of cases, including proceedings before courts of first instance, appellate, and cassation courts.

His practice focuses on defending businesses and private clients in criminal cases. Denys represents business owners, top management, and key executives in proceedings involving economic crimes, embezzlement, misappropriation of property, abuse of office, official negligence, tax evasion, and other offences that create unjustified criminal law risks for businesses, assets, and reputations.

He assists clients in crisis procedural situations, including detention, searches, temporary access to documents and property, interrogations, preventative measures, and seizures of assets. Denys develops defence strategies considering long-term consequences for clients, challenges procedural decisions by investigators and prosecutors, represents victims, and supports damage recovery processes, including negotiations and out-of-court settlements.

Denys Shevchenko also advises companies on preventing unjustified criminal prosecution and minimising criminal law risks across various sectors of the economy, including the defence industry, logistics, retail, and pharmaceuticals.
