Position
Dina Kouvelou is a Partner, co-Head of the TMT & Digital Business Practice and Head of the Data Protection & Cybersecurity Practices. She focuses on litigation and regulatory advisory work in the digital economy, with particular emphasis on telecommunications, digital platforms and online marketplaces, data protection, cybersecurity, emerging technologies and product liability.
She regularly represents clients in proceedings before regulatory authorities and civil and administrative courts, while advising organizations on compliance strategies and risk management frameworks relating to data governance, cyber incidents and digital services regulation.
Career
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Dina previously served as General Counsel and Head of Legal & Regulatory Affairs for leading fixed and mobile telecommunications operators in Greece and as a senior legal advisor at the national telecommunications regulator (EETT).
She advises clients on cybersecurity risks, data governance failures and technology-related disputes, and regularly handles cyber incidents, data breach investigations and regulatory enforcement proceedings. Her practice includes supporting organisations in implementing GDPR compliance programmes, cybersecurity governance frameworks (including NIS-related obligations) and AI risk management policies.
Alongside her disputes practice, Dina also advises on technology contracts, IT procurement and outsourcing, cloud infrastructure, digital advertising and e-commerce, with a focus on risk allocation, regulatory compliance and dispute prevention in complex digital environments.
