
Alberto Pasino
Alberto Pasino has been a Partner of the Firm since its foundation. Resident Partner of the Firm’s Trieste Office since 1996, he manages the Firm’s activity in the North East of Italy. In 2006 he started up – and still collaborates with – Zunarelli’s Office in Shanghai, where he lived for a long time. He is a member of the Managing Board of the Firm. He is qualified to represent Clients before the Italian Supreme Court.
His main areas of practice are maritime and transport law, commercial law, civil law, litigation and arbitration. He has vast experience in litigation and arbitration with regard to terminal operator liability, multimodal, sea and land transport, international freight forwarding, recreational boating and building contracts. He advises companies in commercial, corporate and M&A matters. He also advises in the fields of direct foreign investment and of international trade with China.
He was a member of the committee appointed by the Italian Ministry of Infrastructures and Transportation for the drafting of the 2005 Italian Yachting Code. He is a Court appointed expert for shipping matters. He holds seminars at university and master degree courses and is speaker at congresses on transport law, maritime law and international commercial law. He has published several articles on those subjects.
