Ms Basałaj is an expert in the field of intellectual property law, with a particular focus on the protection of industrial property rights. She is experienced in matters concerning Polish and European Union trademarks, industrial designs, copyrights and advertising. Ms Basałaj is skilled in litigating cases concerning the infringement of intellectual property rights. Her work has included  the pharmaceutical, e-commerce, FMCG (with an emphasis in cosmetics, clothing, and food sectors), and technology innovation industries.

For nearly ten  years, she has advised and represented corporate and individual clients in managing their industrial property portfolios in domestic as well as in international markets. She is adept in providing comprehensive advice on strategies her clients can follow for the effective protection of trademarks and designs.

She excels in negotiating agreements concerning the coexistence of trademark rights in the marketplace. Ms Basałaj  also represents clients in opposition and invalidation proceedings concerning Polish and EU trademarks and industrial designs.

Prior to joining Hansberry Tomkiel, she worked in a recognized law firm in Poland specializing in intellectual property law.

Ms Basałaj  is well experienced in providing IP law training sessions that are tailored to a client’s needs and business.
