Maiju is an experienced technology lawyer who advises on technology contracting and digital transformation initiatives. Her core expertise includes IT and business process outsourcing and digital transformation projects as well as licensing, cloud and other service procurements, including SaaS and other XaaS models. She also regularly supports clients in software development projects and in the deployment of AI and other emerging technologies. Maiju’s experience spans the full lifecycle of IT procurement from preparing RFPs and supporting vendor selection to negotiating contracts, managing risk throughout delivery, and assisting with termination and exit processes. In addition to her technology related advisory, she supports clients in sourcing matters in a range of industries. She is also frequently involved in IT and tech intensive M&A transactions and carve-outs, advising on post closing arrangements such as transitional service agreements, and in IT separation and consolidation projects. Maiju has also gained in house experience as a secondee lead counsel at Nokia, where she deepened her expertise in the telecommunications sector.
