Harrowells Family Head Amy Foweather appointed as Director

Yorkshire law firm Harrowells has appointed Solicitor and Head of Family, Amy Foweather, as a director of the business.Amy joined Harrowells in 2018 in a partner role, and in 2023 she took on responsibility for leading the family law team.Amy is a highly experienced family lawyer, specialising in high-net-worth and complex cases, including those with complicated business and agricultural structures. She advises clients in relation to both asset protection and matters arising from separation and divorce, including financial settlement and arrangements for children. Amy has a strong professional profile across Yorkshire.Commenting on her appointment, Amy said: “Having been part of Harrowells since 2018, I have seen how much the business and our family team have continued to develop across all seven offices.  Client care, expertise, and a positive working culture are at the heart of what we offer, and that is important to me. Charlotte Cousins and Lucy Thomson become newly qualified solicitors at Harrowells

Harrowells is pleased to announce that Charlotte Cousins and Lucy Thomson have qualified as solicitors, taking up roles in the firm’s Commercial Property and Family teams respectively.Charlotte has become a Commercial Property Solicitor following the completion of her training with Harrowells. She holds a First-Class Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from The University of Law, Leeds. She subsequently advanced her legal training, obtaining a Master of Laws (LLM) and completing the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2024.Lucy has qualified as a Family Solicitor after completing her training contract with the firm, which she joined as a Legal Assistant in 2021. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of Law in 2023, followed by a Master of Laws (LLM) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) in 2024. Before specialising in family law during her training contract, she gained experience in Litigation, Private Client and Residential Property.Both Charlotte and Lucy have gained valuable experience working with colleagues across the firm and supporting clients during their time at Harrowells.Their qualification marks the next stage in their careers, and we are pleased that they have chosen to continue with the firm.
