Asem Sabit

Position

Asem Sabit is the head of the Transfer pricing practice.

She has many years of experience in providing various advisory services on transfer pricing issues, namely, conducting expert analysis of foreign economic transactions for the export/import of goods, works, and services; compiling and submitting transaction monitoring reports to information system «Tax Reporting Processing System»; preparing an application for participation in an international group and submitting «three-tier» BEPS reporting; developing policy and pricing methodologies for the export/import of goods; tax audit support; successful appeal of the results of tax audits in pre-trial and judicial proceedings (preparation of a draft claim, tactics and strategies for client protection, collection of evidence, presentation at a meeting of the appeal commission at the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, litigation, etc.); development of a pricing formula for export/import goods (oil, liquefied natural gas, natural gas, etc.), development of a draft agreement on the application of transfer pricing for the export of goods between the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the subsoil user; development of draft Rules (Methodology) of pricing for exported crude oil and gas condensate. She is also a member of the Working Group on Amendments and additions to the Law «On Transfer Pricing» and other regulatory legal acts.

She graduated from Karaganda State University in 2007 with a degree in finance, interned under the International Oil and Petroleum Products Trade program in London, Great Britain, and is currently studying law at Bolashaq Academy.
