Dr. Veronika Bakonyi is a lawyer in the Banking & Finance and Capital Markets Group. She has extensive experience in complex financing transactions and capital markets matters, including capital markets projects, securities offerings, and listings on regulated markets.
In 2023, Veronika played a key role in the listing of a major Hungarian info-communication company on the Budapest Stock Exchange’s regulated market, as well as other listings on the MTF market. She also assisted in the 2024 bond issuance of a Hungarian solar-energy company. Her expertise includes drafting prospectuses, information documents, and conducting due diligence. Veronika regularly advises on banking regulatory compliance and the legal aspects of fintech innovations.
She earned her law degree in 2013 from the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at Eötvös Loránd University and obtained an LL.M. in Banking Law and Capital Markets from Pázmány Péter Catholic University in 2018.
