Ádám Máttyus is a partner of LKT’s M&A, Corporate and Compliance Groups and Head of the Energy Group with over 20 years’ experience in the international legal environment. Specialist in regulated sectors, in particular Energy and Renewable Energy law and non-regulated sectors such as IT and FMCG, as well as M&A transactions and Competition law. Ádám has built a solid client base in the CEE region (mainly from the Czech Republic) in the solar energy field in the recent years and LKT has won several new clients lately in the areas of wind and geothermal energy as well, while developing the solar sector, thereby increasing focus on and work in the renewable energy sector.

In line with the government’s introduction of new legislation in 2023, the competition team at Lakatos, Köves and Partners noted an increase in instructions relating to the review of client whistleblowing policies. The group’s diverse clientele includes multinational corporations and foreign investors, and spans the real estate, telecoms, construction and life sciences sectors. Practice co-head Eszter Ritter has over 15 years’ experience, spanning antitrust, merger control and unfair competition cases. Ritter’s counterpart Iván Sólyom has brings his cross-practice expertise as head of the firm’s corporate and M&A team to the group. Adrienn Mándoki advises on consumer protection matters.
