Senior Associate

Katarina advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of legal matters in the fields of employment law, data protection, capital markets, and corporate and commercial law.

She advises clients on a daily basis on all key aspects of employment relationships, including the drafting and review of employment contracts, internal policies and procedures, transfers of employment contracts to a new employer in the context of business transfers and changes of the employer (TUPE transfers), negotiations with trade unions and works councils, and whistle-blower protection. She actively represents clients in employment disputes before the competent courts.

In the field of data protection (GDPR), she provides clients with comprehensive legal support, including aligning business processes with the GDPR requirements, drafting and reviewing internal acts and privacy policies, and negotiating data processing agreements.

In the field of capital markets, Katarina’s work focuses on regulatory matters and dealings with HANFA (the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency), including legal advice and support to securities issuers, and legal assistance in notification and prior approval processes, with a particular focus on the regulatory framework for alternative investment funds.

Katarina actively participates in due diligence processes and mergers and acquisitions transactions, combining in-depth knowledge of the legal framework and internal corporate processes to deliver practical and precise solutions for her clients.
