Diversity

At ARZINGER, diversity and inclusion shape how we work, how we develop our people and how we support Ukrainian society. We focus on four areas: a safe and inclusive workplace, community building, talent development, and pro bono work.

SAFE AND INCLUSIVE WORKPLACE

In 2021, we joined the UN Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, through its Ukrainian network. By joining, we committed to upholding universal human rights principles in our business. Our Policy on Equal Opportunities and Non-Discrimination Policy puts this commitment into practice. It prohibits discrimination on any ground, as well as harassment and mobbing, and it gives everyone a confidential way to report a violation.

In May 2026, Kseniia Lotosh, Managing Associate, gave a pro bono training on preventing and countering workplace harassment and mobbing. The training was part of the UN Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) initiative and was organised at the request of the Public Broadcasting Company of Ukraine "Suspilne". It covered real-life examples of harmful behaviour and the legal protection available to victims. It also gave practical tools for raising staff awareness and preventing harassment.

Nearly 13,000 companies worldwide have signed the WEPs. In Ukraine, they include EY, Raiffeisen Bank, the European Business Association and Carlsberg. For our Employment Law team, this work supports a corporate culture that does not tolerate any form of violence or discrimination.

We also help team members balance their careers with family life:

  • Hybrid working: flexible arrangements for parents, including those returning after parental leave

  • Welcome gift for newborns: a financial gift from the firm to team members when their child is born

  • Our own Point of Invincibility: a space in our office that keeps power, heating and connectivity running during blackouts, so our team can work and stay safe

ARZINGER WOMEN’S CLUB

This signature initiative brings together female clients and employees, providing a space for meaningful networking, inspiration, and connection beyond day-to-day business matters. The Club helps strengthen client relationships through a supportive community while also creating a positive social impact through its charitable component.

In 2025, during our 2 events, we collected:

  • UAH 73000 (≈ $1640) for Superhumans Center, which helps veterans (amputees) with prosthetics and rehabilitation

  • UAH 72500 (≈ $ 1625) to support Kids of Ukraine, a charity foundation that creates recovery programs for teenagers to overcome the trauma of war

In 2026, we raised 56 500 UAH (≈ $1270) for Generation+, which curates career-guidance programs for teenagers. And we have one more event to go.

DEVELOPING TALENT, EXPERTISE & FUTURE LEADERS

ARZINGER invests in the continuous professional development of its lawyers and the next generation of legal professionals (our mission) to ensure consistently high-quality client service through:

  • A firm-wide Learning Hub offering ongoing training and workshops (at least 12 throughout the year from Partners to staff)

  • A structured mentoring system, including partnerships with institutions like the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and Kyiv School of Economics, manifesting the firm’s devotion to developing future legal talent

  • Litigators’ Roundtable – a regular gathering of ARZINGER’s Dispute Resolution team and senior partners focused on case reviews, litigation strategy discussions, and the exchange of practical experience

Additionally, with dedicated training on inclusive communication and veterans’ integration, ARZINGER continues to strengthen its ability to serve a diverse client base and provide legal advice that reflects the realities of Ukraine’s post-war environment.
