Position
Riccardo Lonardi is a Director of PwC Legal & Tax Italy with over 14 years of experience in M&A, private equity and venture capital, advising on complex transactions across the middle market and cross-border landscape.
Riccardo provides comprehensive legal support on buy-side and sell-side transactions, coordinating multidisciplinary teams on both domestic and international deals. His sector expertise spans industrial, consultancy, and transport/logistics. He has developed a strong specialisation in advising start-ups and venture capital operators on investment rounds, with particular focus on early-stage financing instruments, including SAFE agreements.
He regularly assists clients in the drafting and negotiation of SPAs, investment agreements, shareholders' agreements and joint venture arrangements. Additionally, Riccardo provides ongoing corporate and commercial support to portfolio companies, including the negotiation of complex commercial contracts.
He has participated as a Lecturer at academic institutions for several courses in the field of Italian Corporate Law and M&A.
