Corporate M&A and Capital Markets

Cristina Cengia has over 30 years of professional experience with reference to M&A and Capital Markets transactions. She is currently partner of PwC - leading the Capital Market department.

Cristina handles M&A investment and divestment transactions involving listed and unlisted industrial companies, financial institutions, including in the private equity and venture capital industry.

Additionally, Cristina regularly provides legal assistance and advice in IPO processes on EXM and EGM. She also provides legal assistance to listed companies on corporate governance and market best practices.

Cristina sits on the Supervisory Board of PwC Italy.

Before joining PwC Legal, Cristina gained significant professional experience in multi-practice “boutique” law firms (as equity partner), Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Intek Group S.p.A. (now KME Group S.p.A.), company listed on Euronext Milan (as chief of legal).
