Advising Tiryaki Agro (Turkey's leading agro-business company) on a multimillion USD enforcement of arbitration disputes. Advised Coca Cola Export Corporation on a multimillion USD acquisition of a substantial equity in a Middle Eastern beverage corporation. Advised Kuwait Financial House on a multimillion USD acquisition of a large development project in Damascus. Advised Al Furkan Company on structuring a multimillion USD acquisition of a four star hotel in Aleppo. Advised the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Trade, through the EU, on setting up a Companies House. Advised the Syrian Ministry of Economy and Trade, through the EU, on enhancing legislative drafting and taking the Syrian Company Law as a case study. Advised Oversees Food Trading Ltd on structuring a multimillion USD acquisition of food processing plant. Advised Cargill (one of the world’s largest food and agricultural products companies) on first major project finance deal in Syria. Advised Italferr (worldwide railway, infrastructure and technological system provider) on three multimillion contracts with the Syrian Government. Advised Nokia Siemens on setting up branch office in Syria. Advised Ssangyong Corporations (one of South Korea’s largest trading companies) on tax issues debt recovery related to a letter or credit. Advised Picanol (the Belgian-based worldwide supplier of textile solutions) on major debt recovery, taxes and security for credit in Syria.
