Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)

GOLAW is committed to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion across all levels of the firm. Gender balance is reflected in leadership roles, with women holding approximately 50% of senior management positions. The firm promotes merit-based recruitment, professional development, and a zero-tolerance approach to discrimination or harassment. Employee wellbeing, psychological safety, and resilience programmes are integral, particularly in supporting staff during the ongoing war in Ukraine. We believe that an environment of mutual respect, where people are valued solely for their expertise, is the key to our common success.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

At GOLAW, we believe that business and society are interconnected. Our success is built on compliance with international ethical standards and addressing social needs through several key initiatives:

  • regular tree-planting projects, such as those at the Alexander Fomin Botanical Garden and Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, to support urban sustainability;
  • publication of the children’s book 'Who is a Lawyer?' to promote the rule of law and human rights among the younger generation, with proceeds donated to charity;
  • sponsoring international cultural events, including the Italia Festival Barocco in Kyiv, to promote musical heritage.

Pro Bono

GOLAW is proud to provide high-quality pro bono legal services, ensuring that justice remains accessible regardless of financial capability. We are dedicated to supporting local communities and NGOs, firmly believing that the rule of law is the essential foundation of a modern democratic society.
