Co-Managing Partner

Simone Pisani is Co-Managing Partner of BLV – Belvedere & Partners, a position he has held since the firm's foundation. He advises clients — in both contentious and non-contentious matters — on real estate law, with particular focus on urban planning, construction, retail and commercial regulation, environmental law, compulsory purchase, public procurement, and real estate contracts.

He acts for leading domestic and international real estate investment funds and major industry operators on development and regeneration projects, handling all aspects of urban planning and programming, building permitting, and environmental, cultural heritage and landscape authorisations.

He has extensive experience in projects involving the development of hotels and hospitality facilities, student accommodation, logistics and industrial sites, large retail structures, and residential and office schemes. He has also advised on significant real estate transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and income-producing asset management.

He has contributed to the preparation of general urban plans, as well as the drafting and implementation of detailed plans and complex urban transformation programmes. Notable projects include the implementation of the MIND – Milano Innovation District, the regeneration of the former Falck industrial area in Sesto San Giovanni, and the preparation of the variant to the PII Milano Santa Giulia masterplan.

Prior to joining BLV – Belvedere & Partners as Co-Managing Partner, he held Partner and Legal Director roles at leading national and international law firms.

He is a regular contributor to Il Sole 24 Ore on urban planning and construction law matters, and is recognised in major national and international legal directories. Legal 500 notes that he is "very knowledgeable of every detail of public law and with great experience." He also authors the Chambers guide "Italy: An Introduction to Real Estate".
