Diversity

Diversity and inclusion are cornerstones of our firm. We have a 60-40 female to male partner ratio and boast a workforce where 70% of our colleagues are women from diverse backgrounds. This diversity enriches our perspective and drives our success.

Offering to society has always been and remains one of our objectives. We take our social responsibility seriously and our activities include a significant portion of pro bono work and financial or other support to initiatives related or even unrelated to the law.

As a socially responsible firm and an active member of the community we made charitable donations to the following NPO’s: Desmos (2023 – 2025), a non-profit organization that serves as a hub between donors and beneficiary organizations, Ethelontes tou Cosmou (2023-2024), a non-profit organization that provides medical care and food support to Greek people in need, Agios Panteleimon (2023 – 2024), the Residential & Nursing Care - Old People's Home and to two elementary schools in Greece.

Our pro bono legal services are a fundamental aspect of our commitment to social responsibility; therefore, we have been and will continue to offer them. We believe in using our expertise to benefit the community and uphold justice.

We had the great pleasure of participating in the 41st Athens Marathon, The Authentic for a meaningful cause, supporting Desmos' mission to make a difference in Greek society. Desmos, a non-profit foundation, has been a vital connector between donors and organizations in need since 2012, focusing on social welfare, healthcare, emergency response, and building a better future for all.

In addition, we are excited to have once again participated in the Job Fair hosted by ELSA Athens and ELSA Greece at the Serafeio Athletic and Community Complex on 7 - 9 December 2024. This annual event provided an incredible platform to connect aspiring law students with the realities of legal practice. At the forefront of our engagement were Vicky Koutsopoulou, Counsel, and Antonia Rountou, Senior Associate, who led dynamic presentations on behalf of Papapolitis & Papapolitis. In an open and honest dialogue, they addressed students’ questions, shared valuable insights about the life of a lawyer, and explored their concerns and aspirations for the future. Our team gave students a glimpse into the vibrant and collaborative work culture we’ve cultivated at P&P, answering questions and offering advice about navigating the legal profession. During day 2, we had the privilege of interviewing 20 talented students interested in either joining us as summer interns or beginning their legal careers with P&P as trainees after completing their studies.

We had the pleasure of opening the doors to P&P office on May 28, 2025, and welcoming a group of bright and ambitious law students from ELSA Greece as part of their Lawyers@Work initiative. During their visit, the students gained valuable insights into the inner workings of our firm and learned from our lawyers, about tackling strategic and complex challenges on real client projects and case studies. We shared our firm’s passion for the legal profession, the collaborative culture we uphold, P&P’s unwavering commitment to excellence and to our investing in our team’s growth and potential.

P&P sponsored the GC Summit: Greece 2025 for yet another year. This flagship event, organized by Legal 500, took place in Athens on June 19, 2025, bringing together Greece’s top in-house legal minds for a day of insightful discussions and valuable networking. This year, we were honored to host a must-attend panel titled “Employment Challenges in the Business Environment” moderated by Despoina Charakopoulou, Counsel and Head of our Employment/Labor & Social Security Practice. The discussion featured an exceptional lineup of industry leaders.

We proudly took part in the 2nd Lawyers’ Run, a meaningful initiative by SDEE / Σ.Δ.Ε.Ε. (ΣΥΝΔΕΣΜΟΣ ΔΙΚΗΓΟΡΙΚΩΝ ΕΤΑΙΡΕΙΩΝ ΕΛΛΑΔΟΣ), dedicated to making a difference.  More than just a race, this event was about uniting the legal community for a great cause—supporting two organizations: Cerebral Palsy Greece/Open Door and Aurora Greece.

Further, we had the honor of hosting a brilliant group of law students and their professors from the University of Groningen at our offices during their recent educational visit to Athens. This insightful exchange allowed us to discuss key legal topics on Corporate law, M&As, Real Estate, and the interrelationship between Greek and EU law. Our Managing Partner, Nicholas Papapolitis, kicked off the session with an inspiring introduction on the values needed to succeed in law and the skills that define a great lawyer.

Our Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution, George Gravias, recently participated as a speaker at the conference, "Business Transformations for Sustainable Entrepreneurship," hosted by the Association of Société Anonyme and Entrepreneurship (SAE/ Σύνδεσμος Α.Ε. & Επιχειρηματικότητας) at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Held under the auspices of the Bank of Greece, the event addressed critical legal and tax issues surrounding sustainable business transformations, a topic of particular relevance with the draft bill on tax incentives currently under public consultation. As a panelist in the session "Collaborative Culture for Successful Transformation," George emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of collaboration among businesses navigating transformative change. The discussion explored the current state of collaborative practices in Greece’s business landscape and the challenges faced by companies striving for innovation and growth.

P&P celebrated the successful completion of our first-ever Summer Internship Program, a milestone initiative designed to provide law students with hands-on legal experience and professional mentorship. With three intakes held between June and July 2025, the program fostered growth, innovation, and a deeper understanding of the legal profession.

We are proud to have supported the 7th Athens Investment Forum, themed “Greece as a Stable Development Pillar of Southeastern Europe.” Organized by the Technical Chamber of Greece and VerticalSolutions, the forum brought together key leaders, industry experts, and political representatives to explore Greece’s central role in development, energy, infrastructure, digital transformation, and, for the first time this year, healthcare.

We supported ELSA, at the Job Fair they organized in December 2024 and the 10th National Moot Court Competition as a gold sponsor, backing the next generation of legal minds.

Finally, our firm supports young mothers by offering flexible working arrangements, including working from home whenever required, enabling them to balance their professional and family responsibilities.
