Dr. Hermann Waldhauser has many years of experience in the fields of information technology, intellectual property and copyright law, as well as media and entertainment. A key focus of his practice is advising companies on legal matters arising from digital transformation, disruptive technologies, and innovative business models. In addition to traditional IT contracts, his work concentrates on topics such as artificial intelligence, virtual worlds, smart contracts, and quantum and blockchain technologies. He also advises companies and agencies on the planning and implementation of websites and social media presences, as well as advertising and marketing campaigns.

The management of trademark portfolios and the enforcement of trademark rights round out his range of advisory services. Handelsblatt named him Lawyer of the Year in IT and Technology Law in both 2022 and 2019.

As a former national hockey player and author of the doctoral thesis 'The Television Rights of the Sports Event Organizer', his passion ultimately lies in sports marketing. From 2007 to 2011, Dr. Hermann Waldhauser served as Vice Chairman of the Federal Arbitration Court of the German Hockey Federation. Since 2025, he has been a curator of the German Sports Aid Foundation.
