Ola Åhman is a highly regarded corporate lawyer with more than 25 years of experience and is widely recognized as one of Sweden’s foremost experts in Public M&A and Capital Markets. He has an outstanding track record advising financial and strategic investors, financial institutions, and listed companies on complex matters, including public takeovers, restructurings, capital raisings, regulatory issues, and compliance. Ola has advised large nordic energy companies on insider trading and market abuse in relation to energy derivatives and Nord Pool trading.

He holds prominent positions in Swedish legal governance, serving on the main board of the Sveriges advokatsamfund (Swedish Bar Association) and as a member of the Aktiemarknadsnämnden (Swedish Stock Market Council). He earned his Ph.D. in Civil Law from Uppsala University in 1997, reflecting his strong academic foundations. Ola is also a frequent lecturer at universities on company law, stock market regulation, and commercial law, reinforcing his influence as both a practitioner and an academic.
