Eran Shellac
Eran has gained extensive seamanship experience during his years of service as a senior naval officer (Commander [Naval]), commanding of a fleet of patrol vessels (OPV) in the Israeli Navy, and during the subsequent 7 year period, when he worked as a yacht Master. Eran advises clients on issues in relation to the above, in particular with drafting of Charterparty, Shipbuilding contracts, Sale and Purchase, Ship-management and Ship-broking contracts. Eran also handles marine insurance claims, acting for both Ship/Yacht Owners and Underwriters, and in particular on H&M issues, Seamanship, Collisions and 3rd party liability (TPL). Eran has been engaged on behalf of cargo interests on in matters related to GA, salvage and related arbitrations and litigation. Eran leads the firm’s growing division dealing with Yachts and Mega-Yachts, providing the Owners/Charterers/Operators a “one stop shop” covering all required aspects of legal services such as S&P contracts/Shipbuilding contracts, registration, financing, manning, statutory compliance, commercial management and operation, insurance, contentious and non- contentious matters.
