Beatrix Berkes is a core member in the capital markets department of Gárdos Mosonyi Tomori Law Office.

Within capital markets, her focus is on the activity and operation of investment firms and her clientele consists of the main investment firms of Hungary. Due to her vast experience and deep knowledge gained in the investment sector Beatrix is able to provide her clients with legal advice in respect of every detail of their day-to-day operation. She has obtained significant experience in respect of establishment of investment firms, licensing processes and legal compliance. She has particular expertise in MIFID II. She also takes part in complex projects relating to securities issuance. She is regularly asked by her clients to hold in-house training about issues relating to legal compliance which is a great recognition of her expertise. Beatrix is a lecturer at courses organized by the Budapest Institute of Banking and International Training Center for Bankers.

She earned her law degree in 2011 at Széchenyi István University. She started her legal career at a domestic law firm. She joined Gárdos Mosonyi Tomori Law Office in 2019. Parallel to her job, she continued her legal studies. In 2019, she earned her LL.M. degree in Banking Law and Capital Markets at Pázmány Péter Catholic University.
