Hazal Baydar is a Partner at Moroğlu Arseven, advising domestic and international clients on all aspects of corporate and commercial law. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, market entries, regulatory compliance and capital restructurings. Her work is noted for its breadth, cross-sector impact, and consistent focus on delivering practical results in complex transactions.

She regularly represents private equity (PE) and venture capital (VC) funds, as well as strategic investors, in high-profile acquisitions and investments and strategic cross-border transactions in Türkiye. Hazal is actively involved throughout the deal lifecycle from structuring and legal due diligence to leading negotiations of key transaction documents, including share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, joint venture agreements, and investment agreements. Her early-stage insights help clients identify legal risks and develop practical, business-oriented solutions.

Hazal is particularly active in technology-driven sectors, advising both established companies and emerging ventures in industries such as IT, banking and finance, fintech, automotive, manufacturing, and energy.

Hazal is deeply engaged in the international legal community. She currently serves an Executive Committee member of AIJA – International Association of Young Lawyers, where she actively contributes to fostering international collaboration among legal professionals.
