Steve is a Partner and Head Of BLM's Creative, Digital & Marketing Sector Group.

He specialises in Intellectual Property, Media, Marketing & Data Protection issues with a nationally-recognised niche expertise in social media issues (having written the UK’s first book on Law & Social Media in 2010, and a second in 2011).

He works with the Creative, Digital & Marketing Sector, in which he has significant commercial experience and is deeply embedded.

Steve trained and qualified at Cobbetts, then spent time at Halliwells (later Gateley) before leaving to become Head Of Legal Boohoo.com.

He returned to private practice as Head Of IP & Media at Bermans, making Partner in 2016 before moving to Slater & Gordon and then BLM, becoming Head Of its Creative, Digital & Marketing Sector Group in 2019.
