Career

Ioannis has twenty (20) years of experience advising corporate and private clients on cross-border transactions and litigation, with a particular focus on Corporate and Commercial Law, M&A, Employment Law, and commercial disputes, including matters with an international footprint.

He advises a variety of domestic and international clients on Corporate and Commercial Law, M&A, and Civil & Commercial Litigation, including high-volume corporate and financial transactions across sectors such as tourism, industry, technology, business services, and real estate.

He also advises on technology-driven M&A, supporting domestic and international clients on transactions and commercial arrangements involving software-centric business models (including SaaS and cybersecurity). His work typically covers technology oriented due diligence, negotiation of risk allocation in transaction documents, and the structuring of commercial and implementation agreements where regulatory compliance, data governance, and operational resilience are key.

Ioannis is a graduate of the University of Cologne (Universität zu Köln) and Philipps University of Marburg an der Lahn.

He is admitted to the Athens Bar Association (Supreme Court) and is also registered with the Berlin Bar Association as a European Lawyer. Ioannis is Vice-Chairman of the Greek-German Club “Philadelphia” and has also served as Coordinator of the KYC/AML working group of the Hellenic Association of Law Firms.
