Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein is a one-stop shop for the whole array of maritime commercial matters. The firm assists shipping companies, shipyards and forwarders as well as the offshore and cruise industry. Headed by Jan Dreyer and Olaf Hartenstein, the maritime practice group advises on ship financing, transactions and the drafting of contracts, among other issues. In cases of average and hull damage, clients are also represented before courts and arbitral tribunals, with Dieter Schwampe being particularly adept due to his expertise in marine insurance. Dreyer is well versed in yacht building, ship financing and supply, while Marco Remiorz  assists clients with classic shipping law and contract drafting. Arnecke Sibeth Dabelstein is active in advising on private construction law, offering clients comprehensive advice on the entire life cycle of projects, including all planning and construction phases. This includes advice on acquisitions related to land law, financing and obtaining building approval, as well as support during the planning and construction phase. The group is particularly experienced in handling complex projects with multi-party agreements and often relies on ways of alternative dispute resolution, such as project-related adjudication proceedings. A particular strength is the advice on projects with regard to Building Information Modeling (a digital method of construction project management). In addition to private clients, the firm is also regularly instructed by players from the public sector, including on infrastructure projects. A key focus in the public sector arena are interfacing public procurement law matters. The practice is headed by construction, architectural and engineering law specialist Thomas Richter, who solely focuses on projects and is well-versed in multi-party project issues. Thomas Krall is well versed in project developments, redevelopments and public infrastructure projects, while Antje Boldt is experienced in adjucation and arbitration scenarios. Further Growth at ARNECKE SIBETH with the addition of Korea specialist

As announced ARNECKE SIBETH is growing further: the addition of Alexander Son on 1 September will strengthen ARNECKE SIBETH’s IP/IT/Commercial team. He will join the Munich office as an Equity-Partner not only to support the Practice Group but principally to develop a Korea-Desk at the firm.

Son has practiced as a lawyer in Munich since 2001, specialising in Intellectual Property rights. He was responsible in his last role at the German branch of US Firm Ratner Prestia for large clients such as Humax Digital, Seoul Semiconductor and Daewoo Electronics.

Arnecke Sibeth’s Growth Trajectory Excels

Further new faces in the Firm: On August 1, a market recognized Real Estate Tax Team will join Arnecke Sibeth. Future Partner Alexander Lehnen will be joined by two further experts from Crowe Keeberg Real Estate. The new additions were all formerly with Big 4 Accountancies. They will strengthen the Firm’s Real Estate practice, which already includes more than 50 lawyers across all of its locations.
