Senior Associate

Olesea joined PwC in 2017 and is a Senior Legal Associate. She has more than 14 years of working experience.

Her main areas of specialization include banking and financial, contractual law, corporate law and labour law. Olesea graduated from the Law Faculty of the State University of Moldova in 2007 and holds a Master’s degree in Law at the same institution.

She has broad practical experience in the banking area, having been working in the financial sector for more than 8 years, being involved in legal, compliance, secretarial and human resources activity.

She also participated in different activities regarding consultancy and compliance services on client’s transactions, elaboration of various samples of contracts and documentation for banking and non-banking transactions, legal opinions in sales and banking transactions, litigations and court proceedings.

In PwC, Olesea has been involved in several projects on sell-side transaction support services to a bank upon sale of its activity in Moldova, company’s local incorporation, correspondence and discussions with the supervisory authorities on obtaining relevant authorisations. She has also assisted clients in opening bank accounts and compliance with local banking transactions requirements, including clearance for certain foreign exchange operations with the National Bank of Moldova.  She also participated in a series of legal due diligence projects, under which she mastered the risk assessment practice aimed at informing potential buyers on any target related major risks in various fields, including employment.

Olesea is a member of the AmCham Human Resources Committee and the Fintech Committee of the National Association of ICT Companies, participating in legal reform projects, various discussions and initiatives.
