Dr. Michael Wolfgang Waschak is a European Patent Attorney and focuses on the field of electrical engineering, particularly telecommunications, processor technology, audio and video coding, control engineering, and electric machines.

In addition to handling patent prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings before the European Patent Office, he regularly participates in technologically complex patent infringement proceedings before all relevant civil courts and parallel invalidity proceedings before the German Federal Patent Court.

Dr. Waschak draws on knowledge and experience from his career in industry, having worked as an engineer, project lead, and program manager. He was responsible for multidisciplinary industrial research and development projects in international settings on several continents.

Dr. Waschak is the inventor of several patents as well as author of scientific publications in the field of electronic engineering with a focus on electrical drives and renewable energies.
