Position
German and European Patent Attorney, UPC Representative, Partner
»Savvy in prosecution, relentless in litigation—diligent, strategic, and, when needed, aggressive in both. I bring discipline, structure, and clarity to turn technical complexity into legal impact.«
Marius Fischer combines extensive experience in both proseuction and litigation matters. He advises and represents clients before the German courts, the German Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office, and the Unified Patent Court (UPC). His litigation experience shapes his understanding of what makes a robust and enforceable patent, and he consistently applies this knowledge to every patent application he drafts and prosecutes for our clients.
Marius Fischer combines strong technical insight with in-depth knowledge of patent law. His technical background is rooted in his studies of physics and his work as a developer for a successful Munich-based start-up. In this role, he was also responsible for all intellectual property matters, which allowed him to experience a client’s perspective first-hand. As a result, he attaches great importance to commercially viable solutions and gives clear, understandable, and practical advice. He laid the foundation for his expertise in patent law even before he began working as a patent attorney, during his doctorate in law. This early and intensive engagement with patent law remains a defining element of his consulting practice to this day.
Marius Fischer’s technical focus areas include electrical engineering, digital and information technology, and physics in general, with particular emphasis on telecommunications as well as audio and video coding. He also regularly advises clients in the fields of medical technology and sporting goods, and is likewise trusted by companies in the automotive and aerospace industries.
